Volta Data Centres and LuxConnect join forces to solve challenges of European Union and business continuity. Partnership connects major hosting hubs in Europe
Colocation providers Volta Data Centres in London and LuxConnect in Luxembourg have forged an alliance in a bid to connect the two most strategically important communication hubs in Europe.
The alliance is designed to combine strengths and help companies meet the challenges presented by changing regulations and capacity fluctuations.
This strategic alliance was disclosed at a reception held in the Luxembourg Embassy in London on October 4th hosted by the Ambassador of Luxembourg HE Mr Patrick Engelberg.
Volta Data Centres has a purpose built facility that sits between Shoreditch and the City of London. The site, completely refurbished in 2013, provides a secure colocation platform for small or medium size enterprise, growing companies, or enterprise expanding looking to fulfill a global ambition, allowing businesses to connect to seamlessly the world. LuxConnect has four multi-Tier (Tier II, III & IV) data centres in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg certified by the Uptime Institute. Several global companies from finance, entertainment and online commerce are hosted at their facilities.
The alliance is aimed at bolstering the security and continuity needed by companies in the shifting political and commercial landscapes created by a fast growing IT services sector and the potential re-structuring of the EU following Britain’s Brexit vote. Each data centre company offers high-speed connectivity and scalability.
Volta Data Centres won an award for its innovative Platinum Power SLA; In recognition of its superior level of resilience, Volta launched the unique SLA, offering a year’s free service to any company losing power for even a split second, demonstrating how confident they are in their resilience;
LuxConnect has been recognized for its exclusive use of green electricity sourced from sustainable sources and the subsequent low carbon footprint of its facilities. Their data centers provide a stable environment for business critical hosting with low latency connections to the major European Internet hubs.
Now the two companies can straddle two strategic hubs, easily access space when needed and offer prospective clients a simple way to expand across two key locations.
